I replied on the forums, and I also sent him an email, pointing him over to this forum. This forum is defintely ALOT more user friendly, not too mention alot more action going on over here. I should email some of the other guys on the surplus forum, a link to this forum as well. I kinda have a feeling Troy from Surplus will be pissed off if he finds out about this forum. Just a hunch though.

He'll still be selling paint and air, so he shouldn't be pissed.

I'd probably be down for that. The question is who's place would it be the most handy for everyone to keep it at. I don't have the room at my house. Too much car crap laying around in the garage. Some of us were playing with the idea of having our own Co2 tank as well, but we keep talking ourselves out of it. If we DID do the compressor deal, I would definitely invest some money in some HPA tanks. Then the weather could hold us back NO MORE!!!!! muhahaha

we have our own co2 tank and i'm friends with the guy that fills it for me and he lets me go ahead and take 2 if i think we are going to need it. like i said, i just bought a scuba tank to start filling my hpa tank, but i think the compressor is the way to go. for the record, i have a big garage. if you are interested in filling your own hpa tank pick up a scuba tank off ebay for about $100 i already have the fill station. i have the fill station for co2 also if you want to get one of them. if you get a co2 tank make sure you get one with out the dip tube. you have to turn it upside down to fill, but you get more out of it.

What is the cheapest you've found an HPA compressor for? I'm ok with using Co2, but I'd love to move to HPA or N2. Back in the day we used to all have those 9v heated socks. We'd just slip those over our tanks, and it did a pretty good job of keeping the Co2 from luquifying. I can't even find those socks anymore though.
Let us all know what kind of prices you find on the compressors. I'd throw in the cash.

I think you'll need to check with the ass hole that said I was buying one!
I do know where there is a deal on one. The old man at Bent Arrow said he had an extra one in the back of his shop that he would sale for $1500. He said that the reason he wasn't using it was that it wasn't quite big enough to handle the scuba tanks that he also fills for people.
I said that i didn't think it would take very long to get your money back(if the damn thing wasn't junk) and someone thought that meant that I was buying one! THAT'S HOW RUMORS GET STARTED!!!!!!!!!!!
