Hey Derrick! Thanks for joining the forums man! I kinda grew up with Troy so I kinda feel like we are stepping on his toes by even having this forum. But, I'm really glad Ely went ahead and put this thing up. I couldn't help but laugh a little when I saw the last post on the surplus was back in June or something like that. But I can understand how hard it is to get the word out about sites like these. Ely has been trying like hell to find people, and we are always looking for more people to play paintball with.
Lets hope this weather will pop back up in the 40-50's so we can start playing again. It'll be nice to have some new faces as well! We usually average anywhere from 5-15 (if eveyone would show we could have around 20 or so) whenever we play. As you already know we are primarly woodsballers. I haven't played any serious speedball since the early to mid 90's so l'm more than a little rusty. That, and I don't think very many of us have guns that are set up too well for speedball. If you and your friends have some nice places to play down Paoli, I'm sure some of us guys could make the trip down someday.

we usually don't start playing untill april, but i can probably get some guys together as long as i have plenty of notice. we have about 12 guys that show everytime we get together and have had as many as 24 or 25, you just never know who's going to show. when i say we mix in a little speed ball we just have an open area in the woods we play in with a bunch of old doors and stuff for bunkers. it's just a small area you can pretty much shoot all the way across it. do you guys use co2 or comp. air? i'd like to find somewhere close to fill comp. air tanks and or scuba tanks. do you guys know of any? anyway, hope to shoot or i mean see you guys soon.

The closest place I know of for sure is Bent Arrow up in Bloomington. There used to be a scuba place down town Bedford, but I think he went out of business. Way back in the day we used to use electric 9v heated socks to slip over our Co2. it did a pretty good job of keeping the Co2 from totally liquefying. As far as temperature. I think most of us would play in freezing weather if Co2 permits it. Does Randel Gerkin play with you guys? We were friends in High School, and I saw that he had posted on the surplus forum. I was just curious. What kind of equipment do you and your Buddy's use, if you don't mind me asking.

randall and his brother both play with us.we have guys from as far as huntingburg come and play sometimes. as far as equipment most people use tippman or spyders. i personaly use an a5 with e grip, polished internals, spring kit, lightened the trigger pull. my other one is a ion with t-board ,qev,90 grip frame, sidewinder regulator, edge barrel kit. the ion is what i need the comp. air for; well i don't have to have it but it's better for the gun. what about you guys as far as guns?

Thats awesome that I don't know Randalls brother real well, but it'll be fun to catch up on times with Randall. Most of us are from Bedford, Mitchell, Bloomington, Elletsville, and a few from Spencer. As far as our guns go, we are pretty much the same Tippmanns and Spyders. My guns
Tippmann a5 with e-grip (selling to co-worker)<---trying to suck as many into paintball as possible! ;D I'll miss the gun though. Tippmann X7 (bone freakin stock) Tippmann 68. special Tippmann Pro-lite Bt-4 Assault Bloodsucker pump PCS us-5 e-grip(selling that piece of crap to my brother in-law as soon as it returns from PCS) Spyder MR2

we kind of do the same thing. most of us have 2 or 3 so we can loan them out trying to get more people to play. where is that bent arrow in bloomington at and do they fill scuba tanks or just the small comp. air tanks? what about paint, do you guys buy yours local or order it? we order ours usaully shoot xballs. i think we end up getting xball bronze for around $40-$45.do you use your pump gun much ? we have a guy that plays with us quite a bit and thats all he uses and is pretty intimadating with it i might add. pretty funny though to hear it out there with all the e-grips and response triggers.

Yeah, that is EXACTLY what we do with our extras (that, and you never know when something is going to break) My brother currently has possession of my pump. So I haven't used it much as of late. Though I really wish everyone had a pump. I think its one of the best ways to play. And I agree, if played right they can be very affective against semi's and autos. As far as Bent Arrow I'm pretty sure he fills scuba tanks. He is a welding supply store also. If you turn on 2nd street off of 37. Stay on 2nd past wal-mart where 2nd st. turns into 45. Then turn right on Eller Rd. Stay on Eller Rd, and you'll cross over Garrison Chapel Road. It'll seem like you are heading into a residential area, but stay on the road (it'll get a bit narrow as you go up the big hill) then his tiny little shop is just over the hill on the right.
WARNING: The ol' man is a little "out there", and can even come off as a bit abrasive. But overall he's a nice guy, and is fare on prices.

Hello!
I am looking forward to hook-up with everyone for a day of paintball fun. It looks like we could have a good turn out.
I will probably get shot up as usual. I did not get the name "Slowdraw" for nothing. I am just glad that I will not be getting a headbutt from Mr. Goodwine.
Stay alert stay alive, Slowdraw
